We're celebrating the upcoming 5th anniversary of the Weekly Virtual Mix Tape at Red Chuck Productions!
For nearly half a decade, we've been bringing you collections of great music from near and far, from artists on stages large and small. Now it's time for Justin to step aside and hand over the reins to a few of those artists and friends.
To celebrate, we've invited a series of guests curators to share some favorites tunes of their own. We'll be checking in with past Anywhere The Needle Drops guests and old friends of Red Chuck Productions!
BEE! The Band brings us our first mix!
Goshen's BEE! the Band first played together on April 20, 2022. Birch, Evan, Evan (yes, there are two), and Isaac first connected in Goshen, IN over a shared love for music. After playing together in Goshen College’s jazz band, the four decided to start writing and performing their own music as BEE! the Band. Since then, they have performed several shows in Goshen, recorded two live albums, filmed a music video, submitted an entry for NPR’s tiny desk concert series, and released two studio albums, “Ramen Swamp” and “Long Live the Shrewdness.”
We hung out with Isaac and the two Evans (not to mention Spike the cat) this past summer for Anywhere The Needle Drops Episode 240017.
